Halloween's A-Comin!

Halloween's coming! I debated for a while on what LP should be. I settled on a ladybug costume that I found at Target. However, several days ago, I found the cutest little cow costume at Goodwill for a fraction of the cost. Needless to say, LP is the cutest little cow EVER.

3. The cutest little cow on the planet 4. These awesome chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. I'm enjoying being domestic-- tonight is homemade chicken noodle soup and WHO bread!

A trip to the playground

It was chilly, but we all got bundled up and made the trek to our local playground. Little Peanut LOVES to swing. She always has such a good time. And the best part is, the fresh air and the excitement wear her out, so she comes home and takes a great nap.

A party!

Yesterday was the TriadMommies' 3rd Birthday Party! It was cold and windy, but a good time was had by all. I forgot my camera, but luckily the lovely and talented Cophia was on hand with her camera! Here's a cute shot she got of Little Peanut. I love this little hat/sweater combo. The hat is just about too small, but the sweater's too big. Weird. But super cute, though.

A New Accomplishment

Little Peanut is now sitting up all by herself! She can also go from her belly to sitting up without any help! I'm so proud! Here she is tonight practicing her new skill!

Jump jump jump!!

LP's absolute favorite thing in the world (besides mommy....and sometimes I wonder about that) is to bounce. A friend of ours gave us this Johnny Jump Up----best thing EVER!

Big Girl!

Little Peanut had her 6 month checkup on Friday! She's now 16 lbs, 2 oz and 25 3/4" inches long. She's getting soo big!!

My aunt hand sewed this beautiful gown. It was worn by 3 of my cousins, and now the 2nd generation of babies gets to wear it. Little Peanut was the 4th baby to wear it. She looked like a little doll with the bonnet on.

Weekend Trip! pt1

We went up to Virginia this weekend to go to the State Fair for Peanut's birthday. Little Peanut was also baptized. Sadly all the pictures from those 2 events are on other family member's cameras, so.....there gonna come eventually. Suffice it to say that Caroline looked like a little baby doll in her gown and bonnet.

Getting Started...Again

So here it is. My attempt at yet another blog. I'm really bad at keeping up with these things, but I'm hoping I can keep up with this one. I've become a lot more interested in blogging here recently, so maybe this one will stick. Here's hoping!
